A twenty-four hour layover. I shared a cab with a Bolivian-American woman traveling with her elderly parents. She was a high school principal. They were visiting the woman's daughter who attends college in Singapore. We spoke in Spanish and tapped directions into a Microsoft translator to communicate with the driver, who only spoke a chinese dialect.
